Having worked in TV Broadcast for 40 years I thought I had done the basic training.

But turn your back on this industry for a moment and guess what - it’s all changed.

I am now conducting some research on the practical issues facing those working with file based systems and aim to post my findings on this site.

Clearly the business needs are demanding new operational work flow systems and product development has moved with a large leap.

I am placing links to interesting sites and building up a product database.
